Dawna Mirante, Co-President, is passionate about social and environmental issues in Sonoma County and believes that even the smallest actions can drive meaningful change. Outside of work she volunteers for several local organizations including Sonoma County Regional Parks, Sonoma Land Trust, Bay Area Ridge Trail, Coastwalk California and Women Who Hike. Weekends you can find Dawna and her husband hiking and camping all over California and sharing these experiences on their hiking blog, Hike Then Wine. Her passion for the outdoors has led her down the path to be on the board of Net Impact where she feels she can bring all her passions together in one place.

Jackie Winquist, Co-President, is excited to combine her skills and passion to be a force for good by bringing Net Impact to Sonoma County. As a marketing and Certified Sustainable Events Professional who has grown up and raised her 6 children in Sonoma County, she cares deeply about finding solutions to ensure a bright future for them and for generations to come. Jackie believes that when people with similar goals and focus come together, great things can happen on a local or global scale. She looks forward to working together as a community to create a positive Net Impact!

Michelle Spita

Michelle Spita, Vice President, is driven to “do good” with purpose and she is thrilled to serve the Sonoma County business community through a regional Net Impact chapter. After nearly a decade working in public relations and marketing for sustainability and social impact in San Francisco, Michelle now proudly calls Santa Rosa home as a Realtor© with Keller Williams Wine Country Realty. Outside of Net Impact and real estate services, you can find Michelle in the dance studio, in a vintage clothing store, or on any number of gorgeous hiking trails. She holds an MBA from Presidio Graduate School, where her path to equitable sustainability first began.

The goal of Net Impact Sonoma County is to connect like-minded individuals who aim to use business as a force for positive social, environmental & economic impact.  

 

Through our free membership, we work hard to:

 

Provide area business professionals with monthly networking and learning opportunities.

 

Build collaborative relationships with other socially responsible organizations and businesses within Sonoma County.

 

Promote corporate social responsibility concepts among Sonoma County businesses.

Net Impact Sonoma County organizes monthly events that span a variety of topics to build meaningful connections, inspire action, and provide learning and skill-building opportunities for our members to drive positive change within Sonoma County and beyond.
